My night creams

For the next week in my project 365 scrapbook I'm going to have a theme and this weeks theme is things I do on a daily basis . . .
This is my night cream that sits in the drawer beside my bed, got it from my Dr. its retnia A for the face and some vitamine C cream for my eyes. the other container is my nutragena lip balm. I put these three things on every night before I turn out my lights.

We celebrated Valentines on Friday the 13th this year because Jerry has to fly out on the 14th. These are the beautiful flowers he sent me, but what makes flowers so special from him is he actually goes to the florist picks out the vase, the flowers and everything!

Most days the boys are at that age where they pick and argue all the time, so it was so refreshing to catch them playing and having so much fun together in the Jacuzzi like they used to when they were younger! Not sure why the Jacuzzi is so foamy? Hope they didn't put something in it!

Jerry had dropped the boys off at the indoor skatepark and this is what JJ came home with! He was so proud of it though especially since all his other friends at the park that he was sooo cool because he acted like it didn't even bother him!

We have a brick firplace in our living room but this is a stand alone fireplace in our bedroom. You use those little can's and light them up behind the fake logs, but I'm telling you it heats up a room, of course living in Florida we only get to light it up a couple of times a year!

My man loves soup and I love making this one . . . Its Carrabba's copycat recipe for there Spicy Sausage and Lentil soup. I know it doesn't look that good in this picture but its sooooo good . . . PS that's a Hamhock sticking up in the pot.

This park is just a couple of blocks from our house (Hampton Woods) the kids love it because it's really wooded and has two playgrounds, I like it because it has fabulous walking trails!

Every Wednesday and Friday after school while Tre goes to math tutoring I take Summer and JJ to fireman's park which is just around the corner from there school. This particular day there were tons of green parrots feeding in the grass, JJ asked if he could run thru them, so that's the picture. He's running with his rip stick.

Summer's always been in the kitchen cooking with me, Tre has had no intrest but here lately JJ has actually taken and intrest. Growing up with my Grandmother, she would never let me help her, but I always watched and learned. So I'm glad to let my children watch and help if they want to. Here JJ was frying up the ground turkey for Taco night!

Homework, Yuck!

In school I hated homework, didn't see the use in it, now that I have three kids in school, I still hate it and don't see the use in it. Do they know the turmoil it causes between kids and parents! But I'm lucky in the fact that they don't get a whole lot of it, at the public school they went to last year they got a lot more. So this is a picture of Tre doing his homework!

Every Saturday night me and Jerry try to have "Date Night", and I will have to say in the past six months I think we only missed two Saturday's, but made it up on another night! Its really been nice . . . sometimes we go somewhere really nice (if its in the budget) other times we'll just go down to our favorite sushi place, like in the picture above! This night we went to Japan One and had sushi and cold sake, Love the Cold Sake!

Grill Master, NOT!

Grill master I'm not, but I love my GeorgeForeman Grill, seems lately I don't go a day without using it! I got it from the kids two years ago on Mother's Day but these past six months I've used it more then ever. Maybe because its just so easy when your trying to eat healthy and cut out the fat.

PS I had to take this picture after I actually cleaned it really good because it doesn't stay clean for long!

Tre scared us to death by telling us he got a note home from his teacher! He's only gotten 2 notes home since he's been going to school, but I knew what that meant! So I started reading the note nervosly, then realized it was a note saying he had an exeptional day! Whewww I was a happy momma! Then I had to call his Dad and scare him too!

This is Summer showing off her earrings (there fake of course), but a couple of years ago she was wanting to get her ears pierced soooo bad and her Dad wouldn't give in so on her 8th Birthday the present he gave her was a pair of TINY real diamond earrings and he let her know it was time, So I took her to get them pierced but two days later she got an infection and had to take them out so they grew up and she was too scared to get them pierced again. So her friends told her how she could do it herself (ice) so she surprised me and did it on her own! She was so proud to have done it by herself!

Here's a tip, if you can't decide what pictures you want to use for a particular day use multiple and make it into a collage, like the pictures above.If you use Picasa Its simple and this program is free! You can add a bunch of little square pictures to make a 4x6 picture!

This Picture is of a restaurant that me and Jerry happened upon by accident in downtown historic Stuart, It was awesome, what impressed me was how I got to have different oysters from different regions of the United States.

Getting Started with the Project 365

I decided to start a blog to record my pictures and memories everyday because I figured it would help me to be accountable and maybe actually follow thru! If you don't know about Project 365 then follow these links, they'll explain everything.

The kits sold out rather fast but there's plenty of ways you could make your own kit, I was lucky enough to get the kit, should be arriving Monday but another creative way you could do this challenge is make a blog like this one about your Project 365 and then at the end of the year have it printed out. There are online sites that will print out your blog in a book form! Here's some links to check out.
